Nina is a creative entrepreneur with over 20 years of marketing, design, and branding experience. When she's not working on her travel agency and training business, she's the Design Director for an e-learning company where she develops apps and products for teachers.
In 2018, Nina's oldest daughter joined the Air Force, first stationed in Hawaii, while they lived in New Jersey. Wanting to support her daughter throughout her career, Nina knew that the family would need to travel frequently in the coming years.
With this in mind, Nina began her journey as a Travel Agent. As a travel agent, she helps clients plan, book, and organize trips, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities. From the outset, she developed her own systems for acquiring customers and growing her personal brand. Thanks to her extensive marketing background, she quickly began mentoring other agents.
Initially, Nina shared tools and setups with clients to help them easily manage their businesses. Not long after, she also started hosting challenges, boot camps, and retreats for travel agents. This was the birth of the Travel Creators.
The Travel Creators™ Club is a library of learning for anyone who wants to build a business as a travel agent. On the platform, courses such as Tech & Tools for Entrepreneurs and Storytelling Masterclass are offered to members on a subscription basis. The platform also offers other resources, such as the Periodic Table of Content, a content planning system for influencers who want to create travel-related content.
The platform serves two types of customers: travel agents who want to grow their businesses through social media and content creators who want to enter the travel space. It acts as a learning hub for anyone who wants to enter the travel agent business and enhance it through content creation, offering both premium training and some free resources.
One could say that Nina and the Travel Creators are shaping a new profession, a new kind of job. They're betting on combining two existing industries. In the future, Nina plans to offer in-person training for the club, such as full weekend retreats, content creation cruises, and pop-up events. The goal is not only to educate and train clients but also to help them create actual content for their personal brands and businesses.
"I've pretty much tried every course builder out there through client work, so I had a clear understanding of what I needed," Nina says regarding her research for the Travel Creators Club. She couldn't find any tools that were easy to use without compromising on visuals—until she found Forento.
"Setting up courses, publishing products, connecting a domain, and managing the platform was incredibly easy with Forento. Even though I'm quite tech-savvy, I can see how people who aren't can still build something easily with Forento" Nina adds.
You can see The Travel Creators' website here and their platform filled with courses and valuable resources can be found here.

When we asked Nina for advice on course creation, she said, "A lot of people think about what they want to do. Just take action. Sign up for something like Forento and start building. You'll learn and improve your training over time." She also added, "You need to be obsessed with finding, identifying, and helping to solve a problem or overcome an obstacle."
If you, like Nina, want to build a business around your experience and knowledge, you're more than welcome to get started using Forento.
