Track your academy's conversions with Meta Pixel and Conversions API
You can now connect your Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API directly inside Forento — so every course purchase, membership signup, and enrollment gets tracked with the precision your ad campaigns deserve. Running paid ads for your online academy is only as effective as the data behind them. Until now, getting accurate conversion tracking set up required juggling third-party tools, custom code, or workarounds that often lost data along the way. That ends today. We're rolling out native Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) integration for all Forento academies. Connect your pixel, enter your API access token, and start seeing the conversions that matter — directly in Meta's Events Manager. --- Why this matters Browser-based pixel tracking alone has become unreliable. Ad blockers, iOS privacy changes, and cookie restrictions mean a large portion of your conversions simply don't get reported back to Meta — which leads to under-optimized campaigns, inflated CPAs, and budgets that don't perform. The Meta Conversions API sends event data directly from your server, bypassing the browser entirely. Combined with the browser pixel, this gives you the most complete picture of your campaign performance possible. For academy owners spending money on Facebook or Instagram ads to drive enrollments, this integration is a direct line to better attribution, smarter optimization, and more reliable reporting. --- What gets tracked Once connected, Forento automatically sends the following conversion events to Meta: Course purchases — Every completed purchase fires a Purchase event with value and currency data. Membership signups — New membership subscriptions are tracked as Subscribe events. Digital downloads — Download purchases are reported as Purchase events for accurate revenue tracking. Coaching bookings — Coaching program bookings fire as Lead or Purchase events depending on your setup. --- How to set it up Getting connected takes just a few minutes from your Forento dashboard: Go to Settings → Tracking in your academy dashboard. Enter your Meta Pixel ID. You'll find this in your Meta Events Manager under Data Sources. Generate a Conversions API access token in your Meta Events Manager and paste it into Forento. Save the settings. Forento will immediately begin sending events via both the browser pixel and the server-side API. Verify events are arriving by checking the Test Events tab in your Meta Events Manager. You can connect the Pixel ID alone for browser-only tracking, or add the Conversions API token for the full dual-tracking setup. We recommend using both for maximum signal quality. --- Available on the Scale plan The Meta Pixel and Conversions API integration is available to all Forento academies on the Scale plan. Head to your integrations settings and connect your pixel to get started. As always, if you run into any questions during setup, our support team is ready to help.
