New analytics help you understand what drives your academy

What changed
We have expanded Forento's analytics page with more business-focused insights.
Alongside sales, visitors, traffic sources, and devices, you can now review metrics like product conversion, signup-to-purchase performance, cohort retention, course completion rate, community engagement, and email performance.
For academies using PayPal, analytics also includes abandoned checkout insights based on started and completed PayPal orders.
Why this is better
Previously, analytics focused mostly on what was happening at the top of the funnel: how many people visited, where they came from, what devices they used, and how much revenue came in.
That is useful, but it does not always answer the next questions creators ask:
- Which products are turning attention into purchases?
- Are new signups becoming paying customers?
- Are students completing the courses they start?
- Is the community active?
- Are emails being sent successfully?
The updated analytics view brings those answers closer together, so you can understand more of the customer journey without jumping between different parts of your academy.
How it helps creators move faster
Better analytics helps you spot what to improve next.
If a product gets traffic but few purchases, you may want to revisit the offer, pricing, or sales page. If course completion is low, you may want to simplify the learning path or improve the first lessons. If community engagement is growing, you can lean into the conversations and content that are already working.
The goal is not to overwhelm you with dashboards. It is to give you practical signals that help you make better decisions faster.
Built around real creator workflows
Creators rarely look at analytics just to admire a graph. They look because they are trying to answer a business question.
This update is designed around those questions: conversion, retention, course progress, checkout behavior, community activity, and email performance. Each section is focused on the kind of insight that can lead to a concrete next step.
We are still improving it
These analytics are an active area of improvement. If there is a metric you wish you had, or if one of the new sections would be more useful in a different format, we would love to hear your feedback.
Availability
The improved analytics experience is available from the Analytics page in your Forento admin dashboard.
